Happy Father's Day

Horses: The video above was taken today. Equestrian Girl on Stanley doing a little cantering practice. This is her first year riding canter...before this it was all walk/trot.

Motocross: The boys came home this morning from the races tired but happy. Motocross Boy is exhausted which I find pretty funny - that kid is NEVER tired!

Homeschooling: No need to do lesson plans this week!! Just reprint last week's stuff and send them off to try it again...

Happy Father's Day!

what a nice and quiet rider your daughter is! One question though...when I look at her there I see a bit of a chair seat, which makes me think of western and not hunt seat riding. Is that an APHA thing? Do most english riders in APHA ride with a more western style seat? Your daughter is a lovely rider and I am sure she will keep doing well with good basics like she has!

You are right - didn't notice that her legs were so forward! And no, that's not an APHA thing. I think it's more of a "her stirrups are too short because she grew again and I didn't notice" thing. Oops. I should have caught that!

Equestrian Girl looks like she's got a nice quiet seat and is having a nice canter. Very nice.
