Riding

Madison and I have been getting to ride together a lot lately.  With having two horses and one in rehab from her injury back early this summer, this means riding pretty much every day.  Madison works Vince while I walk, and walk, and walk with Mata Hari.  As of October 8, we are up to 40 minutes of walking!

Walking outside for 40 minutes isn't too bad. We zigzag around the trees lining the driveway, circle the fields, walk up to Maggie's barn and back, over to the outdoor arena for a few laps, etc.  When we have to ride at night and it's dark, that means we are stuck in the indoor arena.  Boring.

These pics were actually a few weeks ago and I'm just getting around to posting them.  We had a beautiful fall day and Maggie was around to snap a few pics of us together.
