More on the Buckeye show

The Novice Youth and 13 & Under Hunter Under Saddle classes were small too - even smaller than showmanship with just 3 and 4 respectively.  Barely enough to make it a point class.  Stanley was moving out nicely though against the bigger horses and they had a few firsts mixed in with some 2nds and 3rds.

This was taken on Saturday during one of the few breaks from the rain.  The wind would dry up the pavement pretty quickly but everything was totally saturated and water was leaching into the stalls through the dirt floors.  I wish it would have been nicer - it looked like such a beautiful place and all the trees and flowers were starting to bloom.

The English Equitation classes were much like the HUS with a mixed bag of placings.  Nothing fantastically great but very decent.  The competition was tough even though there weren't many there.
